Sandra Edwards Gray Press Release
November 20, 2012 Sandra Edwards Gray, Esquire, has been admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. The Academy is a national organization of Family Law lawyers of which there are approximately 1,600 members. The Pennsylvania Chapter has about 60 members. Ms. Gray is a native Texan; however, she has resided in Lancaster County for many years. After graduating from Villanova Law School, she was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Wayne G. Hummer, Jr. She then joined the Law Firm of Allison & Pyfer, which later became the Law Firm of Pyfer, Straub, Gray & Farhat, P.C. Attorney Gray is the Secretary of the Law Firm.
In addition to her law degree, Ms. Gray holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Houston Baptist University and a Master’s Degree, with honors, from Temple University. She served as a Custody Conference Officer for the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas for 6 years. She frequently speaks on Pennsylvania Bar Institute Panels and she has also spoken to the Family Law Section of the Lancaster County Bar Association.
Ms. Gray is active in community affairs. She has served on the Board of The League of Women Voters, the Y.W.C.A., Project Runaway of Lancaster County, Dollars for Scholars of Lancaster County, and the Lancaster Symphony Board. She has served as Secretary of the Lancaster Symphony Board, and she is now President-elect.
